The story of this sweet
Evenings on Al-Rashid Street
Al-Rashid Street was the first grand avenue of modern Baghdad, lined with arcades, cafés and sweet shops that stayed open late into the evening. This tray remembers those evenings: baklava cut into small diamonds, nests of kunafa, and a syrup kept light so that one piece always invites another.
