The story of this sweet
A Gift from Old Baghdad
Man wa Salwa takes its name from the manna of old, a gift that arrives unexpected and is always shared. In Iraq it comes with the first cup of coffee and is pressed into the hands of guests who stay too briefly. Ours keeps the old texture, tender and slightly chewy, dusted and set in the Maison's terracotta box.
